‘’For this we will be grateful forever’’
On February 22 Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo celebrated with their guests the 10th anniversary of the Independence of Kosovo in Kasteel de Wittenburg in Wasenaar. Kosovo declared its independence on February 10, 2008.
The reception was attended by the representatives of the Kosovo community, diplomats, politicians, journalists and artists.
H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo Ms. Vjosa Dobruna said that on this day also the anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Republic of Kosovo is celebrated.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands was one of the first countries which recognised the independence of the Republic of Kosovo. She stressed that reaching this moment was a long and challenging process and that the Republic of Kosovo was helped to reach their freedom and independence by many countries including the Kingdom of the Netherlands.’’ For this we will be grateful forever’’ she said.
During the ceremony H.E. announced the nomination of a honorary consul of the Republic of Kosovo in the Netherlands. Mr Robert Bosch, a former ambasador to the Republic of Kosovo.
Finally H.E. invited guests to the artistic part of the ceremony and performance of two Kosovan artists living in the Kingdom of the Netherlands Tina Rama, known from the Voice of Holland and a pianist Arben Ramadani.
