On the 3rd of June, The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in the Kingdom of the Netherlands hosted the artistic performance titled “Spoken Music” with the Dutch-Kosovar artists Arben Ramadani and Luan Buleshkaj, in Het Koorenhuis, The Hague. H.E. Dren Doli, Ambassador of Kosovo to the Netherlands, welcomed the guests highlighting the importance of remembering the liberation day of Kosovo, that this year marks the 25th anniversary, which is annually celebrated by the Embassy of Kosovo in The Hague with a cultural event.

The performance began with the engaging spoken word act in English, Albanian and Dutch language by Luan Buleshkaj, accompanied by refined melodies played by Arben Ramadani. The two artists created an interaction between played music and poetry, capable not only of entertaining the audience but above all of transmitting a message by discussing personal as well as global themes.

This unique event was attended by the variegated audience of Dutch and international guests, including Ambassadors, representatives from Dutch ministries, international organisations based in the Netherlands, NGOs, members of the Kosovar diaspora in the Netherlands, closely followed and enjoyed the performance. The evening continued with a reception with snacks from the traditional Kosovar cuisine as well as drinks.

Info about the artists:

The influence of Albanian spiritual idiom in his compositions and playing defines his music.
