Trzaskowski Wins in the Netherlands: Victory in all Electoral Commissions

In the second round of the Polish presidential elections in the Netherlands, Rafał Trzaskowski achieved a decisive victory, defeating Karol Nawrocki in all 15 polling stations across the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Trzaskowski received 19,797 votes, representing 64.79% of the total. Karol Nawrocki garnered support from 10,757 voters (35.21%).

A total of 30,554 votes were cast.

The Civic Coalition candidate received the strongest support in Amsterdam, where he won between 73% and over 76% of the vote in four commissions. A record result was noted at commission no. 201, where Trzaskowski earned 76.37% and his opponent only 23.63%.

Trzaskowski also enjoyed strong support in The Hague, where five commissions voted — his results there ranged between 62% and 64%. In Breda, his lead was slightly smaller but still clear, with results between 56% and 58%.

Brunssum – A Stronghold with Tradition

Noteworthy is the commission in Brunssum, in the south of the Netherlands, home to one of the country’s oldest Polish migrant communities since the early 20th century. There, Rafał Trzaskowski received 62.13% of the vote, confirming strong support for the Civic Coalition candidate even among more traditional Polish diaspora communities.

In Groningen, in the north of the country, Trzaskowski also clearly won with 66.20% of the vote.

High Turnout in the Netherlands

Over 37,000 Poles registered to vote across the Netherlands, marking a significant increase compared to the second round of the 2020 presidential elections, when about 25,000 registered.
