But Druskininkai has much more to offer. It is a town of love. In the Church of Saint Mary’s Scapular there are unique St. Valentine’s relics. It is here where a small bone from the saint’s body is preserved.

Druskininkai has also Meilės—Love Island, visited by lovers from Druskininkai. And according to legend, natural springs of Druskinikai bubbled up from a place where in ancient times a princess was crying because she thought that the man she loved had drowned in the Nemunas river.
