On August 30, 2014 Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska, as the only Polish person, was invited to celebrate 200 years of Kingdom of the Netherlands together with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and the Federal President of Germany Mr Gauck and Mrs Schadt during the congress at the Theatre Vrijthoff in Maastricht.
Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans opened the congress and the German Federal President Joachim Gauck was the keynote speaker. The German Federal President, discussed the relations between the European Union and its Member States. After these speeches the CEO Frans van Houten (Philips), Feike Sijbesma (DSM) and Marlies van Wijhe (Van Wijhe Paint) carried a LIVE debate with business partners abroad.
The debate was led by Diana Sailor and Rens de Jong (presenters BNR / RTLZ). Among the invited guests were representatives of politics and administration, as well as the diplomatic corps and the business.
