First Copy for the President of MICEE Mr Jan Mans
Mr Jan Mans, president of the Maastricht Institute for Central and Eastern Europe received the first copy of Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska’s book: ‘’Russian and Dutch Medical Terminology’’.
‘’Russian and Dutch Medical Terminology’’ (ISBN/EAN: 9789079532056 NUR-code: 624 ) written by Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska is a unique book not only for doctors, nurses and patients, employers and employees but for everybody who needs medical vocabulary. It consists of more than 200 pages and 26 parts including general and specific medical vocabulary, medical texts, information about Russian and Dutch language and alphabet, Dutch and Russian pronunciation and exercises with answers.
Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska worked together on this book with a team consisting of regional and international doctors, health organizations and ( sworn ) translators. It is already her sixth book.
She is a Dutch-Polish journalist, publisher and writer of Central and Eastern European language books. She is a member of the board of the Maastricht Institute for Central and Eastern Europe. Due to her international background and experience she is an advisor to governmental and commercial organisations on Central and Eastern European issues. Furthermore she has been working as an academic teacher for both Dutch and Polish Universities for more than 15 years.
