Record Number of Poles Abroad Participate in Second Round of Presidential Elections

700,000 voters, Nottingham in Great Britain leads, Brunssum top city in the Netherlands

A record 700,000 Polish citizens have registered to vote from abroad in the second round of the presidential elections. The final number may be even higher, as those with a voting certificate are also eligible to vote at foreign polling stations.

More than 509,000 Poles abroad had already registered for the first round. For comparison, around 636,000 Polish citizens voted from abroad in the 2023 parliamentary elections.

According to information provided by a representative of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nottingham has the highest number of registered voters, with 3,685 people added to the voter list. In the Netherlands, Brunssum leads in terms of registered voters.
