On October 3, Ms Kathy Wood, a new director of the AFNORTH International School located in Brunssum met with the director of General Sosabowski Polish school of the Polish Embassy in the Hague located in Brunssum, Ms Bozena Cichy.
The meeting was also attended by Mr Rob Bindels, Assistant Director of the AFNORTH International School and by Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska, a representative of Polish parents and a founder of our Central and Eastern Europe Center.
The meeting was a possibility to welcome and introduce the Polish School to a newly-appointed director of AFNORTH International School Ms Kathy Wood.
General Sosabowski Polish school has been existing and has been located at the AFNORTH International School for 15 years. Ms Bozena Cichy oficially thanked for the cooperation between these two schools all these years.
During the meeting past, present and future cooperation was discussed between the parties. At the end of the meeting Ms Bozena Cichy handed over a book to Ms Kathy Wood prepared by a Polish Institute of National Remembrance : ‘’ A Guide to the History of Poland 966-2016’’ thanking again for all the support Polish school received so far from AFNORTH.
