European travel – modern art of Bulgaria

On January 16th, at the prestigious Gallery Studio Gallery In The Hague opened an exhibition of Bulgarian artists on the topic of “European travel – modern art of Bulgaria”. The exhibition was official start in the Netherlands of the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council. In his speech, H.E. Ambassador Rumen Alexandrov pointed out that the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council gives Bulgaria the opportunity to form European policies in key areas. He expressed confidence that Bulgaria is prepared to meet the upcoming challenges and noted that the first Bulgarian  presidency of the eu council coincides with the celebration of the 140th anniversary of the recovery of Bulgarian Statehood.

Works were presented by 12 Bulgarian artists from different generations, including artists Kʺnčo Kanchev and Rada Jacob, and also sculptor Chavdar Iliev and photographer Radina Dankova. The exhibition included more works of Akkad, Svetlin Rusev, Akkad, Rumen Skorčev, Nikolai Maystorov, Ivaylo Mirchev, Stanislav Pamoukchiev, Jordan Kacamunski, Prof. Emil Popov and Marina Marinova, which were provided by the collection of the Dutch Patron Čapko Jager.

The exhibition will be available for audience until 4 February 2018.
