Dubrovnik, Fortress Kaštilac and Wroclaw the best European film locations?

Dubrovnik, Fortress Kaštilac and Wroclaw are in the finals of the competition for the best European film location. Wroclaw streets on which Spielberg shot ‘’Bridge of Spies’’, Dubrovnik and Fortress Kaštilac where Game of Thrones were shot compete with for example “Mission Impossible” and ‘’The Grand Budapest Hotel’’ locations.

Filming Europe, the Association of European Film Commissions, promotes for the first time in history, the award for the best European location in Cinema and TV industries.The award is part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Association and aims at celebrating the diversity and multifaceted nature of European locations.
During the first phase, each Filming Europe member proposed one location from its country and a jury of experts selected by Cineuropa, nominated the final shortlist.
Now in this second phase the audience has the chance to choose the best location among the 11 in shortlist, by filling the online till 25 October.
Among all voters, Filming Europe and Cineuropa will draw a winner who will have the chance to visit the winning location! The winner will benefit on 2 nights accommodation for 2 people, which will be offered and used in agreement with the film commission of that area.
