Hungary and Poland at Zuyd University
On the 2nd of February Mr Dániel Csonka, Third Secretary, Deputy Consul, diplomat in charge of multilateral and cultural affairs together with Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska Dutch-Polish journalist, writer, academic teacher and the director of Communications-Unlimited: Journalism Center, Publishing house and Central-Eastern Center took part in the International Week organized by the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, Department of International Business and European Studies.
Ms Beata Bruggeman-Sekowska introduced the presentation of Mr Csonka’s entitled: ’Think HUNGARY, more than expected !’ She interacted with students about Hungary, Poland and Central and Eastern Europe and elaborated on the relations between Poland, Hungary and discussed in short the Visegrad Group.
Mr Dániel Csonka presented in detail a thorough look at various aspects of Hungary, such as history, economics and tourism. He presented the process of changes through the communism times, the revolution in 1956 and finally changing the system in 1989 and moving into a free market economy.He talked about current economic tendencies, foreign direct investments and booming Hungarian festival culture, youth summer festivals including Sziget.
