EU is providing latest information about travel to 27 member states

The European Union has launched a new platform: Re-open EU presenting information concerning coronavirus related travel restrictions in 27 members of the EU.

Just on one platform you can find all the necessary information for a safe travel. It offers information about travel, services, health, health and safety restrictions and safety measures.

You can read there if you can enter a given country, in what way, if quarantine is required or a medical certificate. You can check what services are operating in a given country such as essential (other than medicine and food) shops, tourism accommodations, restaurants, bars and cafés, museums and heritage sites and if beaches are accessible and what restrictions are imposed.

There is also information about Health and Safety restrictions where you can find out if there are any risk areas under lockdown in a given country, if a mask is required in public or for example if physical distancing is required? Later on the platform will also provide feedback and testimonials from tourists.

European Commissioner Thierry Breton said in a statement that the Re-open EU platform “will provide travelers with easy access to information to help them confidently make their travel plans and stay safe during their trip”. He added: ‘’It will also help small restaurant and hotel owners, as well as towns across Europe, draw inspiration from innovative solutions developed by others.”
