On February 19th is the premiere of the new CBS series: The Good Fight with fabulous Christine Jane Baranski, an American stage and screen actress of Polish descent.
A 15-time Emmy Award nominee, her television work includes her amazing role as Diane Lockhart in the Good Wife and Dr. Beverly Hofstadter in The Big Bang Theory. She won Tony Awards for her work in the original Broadway productions, Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in the sitcom Cybill.
Her film roles include among others 9 ½ Weeks, Addams Family Values, Cruel Intentions, Chicago, Mamma Mia and Into the Woods.
Christine Jane Baranski was born in Buffalo, New York as the daughter of Virginia and Lucien Baranski, who edited a Polish-language newspaper. Her grandparents were actors in the Polish theater.
