Google opens a startup campus this month in Warsaw. “Campus Warsaw will welcome entrepreneurs from all over Poland and be a hub for startups in the Central and Eastern European region,” said Rafal Plutecki, Head of Campus Warsaw, in a statement released by Google.
“Our global network provides international connections and opportunities for entrepreneurs, and we can’t wait to lead programs and create amazing content for founders of all kinds,” he added.
The Warsaw campus will be located in the Praga Koneser Center, in one of Warsaw’s former vodka distilleries. It is a recently renovated late 19th century building which is already a location for various companies and flats.
This is already Google’s fifth startup, other startups are located in London, Tel Aviv, Seoul and Madrid.
A sixth Google startup campus is expected to open its doors in San Paulo in 2016.
