On the 9th of December 103 International Women and their husbands attended a fabulous Masquerade Ball Christmas party at an amazing location: Hoensbroek Castle in Heerlen. These amazing ladies are a member of International Women Club-South Limburg ( IWC-SL).
The board member and the activities coordinator: Ms Sabrina Sahel said the following about this event ‘’ This Masquerade Ball did not disappoint! What a magical venue, wonderful Christmas decoration, lovely reception and epic dinner. Thank u so much for making it a success by joining all of you 103 guests. So grateful for shining in your outfits and for embracing the theme so elegantly with those stunning masks!’’
During the ball the participants collected money for Charity Pimma, organisation which has been existing for 20 years and builds schools for children in Latin America. Every year this unique international club supports financially charitable organizations. During the ball also the contest for the most beautiful mask was organized.
The International Women’s Club of South Limburg in the Netherlands was founded in February 1985 as a non-profit organisation. There are 232 members from 51 countries.

The primary purpose of the Club is to bring together women of all nationalities living in the area of South Limburg, promoting friendship, sharing mutual interests and extending support and information to newcomers. Their life stories are fascinating and inspiring.
